St Joseph's Secondary School Obarike-Ito was founded in 1973 by the Holy Ghost Fathers (Spiritans) for the then Diocese of Makurdi but now under Otukpo Diocese after the creation of the latter out of Makurdi Diocese in 1995. The school is located in Obarike-Ito, the headquarters of Obi LGA of Benue State. The school is about 140km from the state capital. It is currently managed by priests of the Via Christi Society..
On Wednesday, Lichfield House had it's first activity of the year with a 'Getting to Know You Evening'
We matched the girls with people not in their year groups and from a different background to themselves. The event proved very successful with new friendships developing between the younger and older girls.
